Idiom of fear

1. Shaking like a leaf : means that when someone is too scare that they cannot stop moving

2. Scared stiff: So frightened tat you cannot move

3. It sends shivers up and down my spine: something frightens you very much (useless in Ielts)

Sometimes when i was a little boy, I was scared about the ghost story. Whenever I heard a haunting from my sister I was usually "shaking like a leaf" but it never make me "scared stiff" so My mother always told that I was a brave boy :">.  And now I know that ghost is just imagination and I do not believe in it. But rarely I read a frightening story . maybe "It sends shivers up and down my spine" :-SS
